How Cigna Healthcare Takes Applications
After the call opens a request, Cigna pulls the application electronically from CAQH (DataSpring) or One Healthport with your permission. A paper application can be mailed to the Cigna Healthcare Medical Onboarding Unit in Franklin, Tennessee, and a state application is accepted only where the state mandates it. Status checks go to PSSCentral@Cigna.com with your full name and Tax ID.
What to Watch With Cigna Healthcare
Cigna's attestation window is 100 days, tighter than the 120 days most plans accept, so re-attest just before the call. Cigna requires an on-site visit for PCPs, OB/GYNs and high-volume behavioral health specialists. Texas runs an annual open enrollment window (February 1 to 28 in 2026) by email to the metro contact, with responses within 90 days.
