Terms of Service
Effective September 23, 2026
These terms cover your use of pecs.health, operated by IntelliStem LLC d/b/a Provider Enrollment Credentialing Services ("PECS", "we"). Credentialing and enrollment work is performed under a written Service Agreement signed before work begins; if anything here differs from your signed agreement, the agreement controls.
Our services
We prepare, submit and follow up on credentialing and payer enrollment applications, maintain CAQH (DataSpring) profiles, and track renewals and revalidations for the providers and practices that engage us. The work is administrative. We do not give legal, tax, clinical, billing or coding advice, and we do not control any payer's participation decision, contract terms or processing time.
Fees and payment
- Prices are published on our Services & Pricing page and confirmed in a written quote before work starts. Published prices can change, but the price in your signed quote applies to that engagement.
- Enrollment services (Medicare, each state Medicaid program and each commercial plan) are billed in two halves: half when we begin, half when the payer approves. CAQH and other one-time services are billed when engaged. Maintenance is billed quarterly per provider and can be ended with 30 days' notice.
- Government and payer fees, such as the Medicare application fee, are separate and paid by the client.
- Invoices are due within 7 days, by ACH (preferred) or card through Stripe.
Closed panels, declined applications and refunds
- Closed panel. If a plan tells us its network is closed to the provider's specialty or area, the fees paid for that application are refunded or, if you prefer, credited toward another service.
- Declined because of the provider's file. If a plan declines because of information about the provider or practice, such as licensure, sanctions, disclosures or information that cannot be verified, the first half covers the work already done and the second half is not billed.
- Otherwise, fees for work already performed are not refundable. If you end an engagement early, amounts already paid cover the work done to that date and nothing further is billed for milestones not reached.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us complete and accurate information, to tell us promptly when something changes, and to review what we prepare. Providers sign their own attestations, certifications and payer contracts; we do not sign those for you. Accuracy of the information you supply is your responsibility.
Status page and website content
The status page shows the current step of each application as recorded in our system. It is provided for convenience and may lag the payer's own records. Guides and other content on this site are general information as of the date shown, not advice for your situation; payer and government rules change often.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to submit information you are not authorized to share, to attempt to access another client's records, or to interfere with the site's operation. Reference numbers are private to each client; please do not share yours.
Intellectual property
The content, design and tools on this site belong to PECS. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, PECS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost revenue, arising from use of the site, and our total liability relating to the site is limited to $100. Liability for engagements is governed by your signed Service Agreement.
